Improving the management measures and establishing peer-education groups to increase the effect on methadone maintenance treatment
The community-based methadone maintenance treatment is a long term to reduce drug dependence and the social problems related with drug using, such as diseases, death, crime and illegality and as well facilitate drug users to return to society. With the improvement of the management measures, the establishment of peer education groups and delivery of peer education in the work of methadone maintenance treatment, the clients enrolled and maintained have been increased 15%.
